Grimm Brothers' fairytales questions?

There is a book called Grimm's Grimmest, it is pretty brutal and bloody as the tales were told in their original form, very cool stuff.It contains alot of the lore your talking about.But really like the other guy said you should take the time to read the subject matter or youll miss out.
