Is the name in Isaiah 7:14,Emanuel, meant by Jesus?

Christians say that the prophesy of Isaiah is fulfilled by Jesus. but his name was not Emanuel. he was not called by this name even once in the new testament. so how the hell did they conclude this? i really wonder.
