Where did the word Christianity come from and was the word ever mentioned to Jesus?

During the days of the apostles after Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, in the letters of Paul the apostle. Or maybe it was the book of Acts. I can't recall but it states that the apostles were called Christians because of Christ. And the word Christian means "Follower of Jesus Christ". The Gospel of Jesus and the free gift of salvation.
